Board finds 94‑lot Lincoln Street subdivision application complete, sets June 2 public hearing

The Saco Planning Board voted unanimously on May 5 to find final subdivision materials for a proposed 94‑lot development at 321 Lincoln Street (Big Ledge LLC) complete and to schedule a public hearing for June 2.

Applicant representative Drew Gagnon said the final submission closely matches the preliminary plan, and that responses to public works and the third‑party engineering review were included in the packet. He described on‑site sidewalks for every roadway and crosswalk improvements at Tasker Street, and noted a planned connection from the Lincoln Street entrance to an existing sidewalk that leads toward town.

Board members asked several technical questions: Jim Moller praised the timeliness of the applicant's responses; Jeff Brochu asked whether sidewalk connectivity referenced off‑site work and asked staff to confirm details; the applicant said the purchase‑and‑sale agreement for the property expires later this fall and promised to provide confirmation before final approval.

The board moved to find the application complete and to schedule a public hearing at the June 2 meeting; the motions passed 5–0.
