Board adopts year‑end transfer, temporary borrowing and EPA designation resolutions

The Atascadero Unified School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to adopt three annual, procedural fiscal resolutions intended to close out the fiscal year and preserve flexibility for the district.

Staff presented resolution 15‑25‑26 authorizing the county superintendent to make year‑end transfers between expenditure classifications under California Education Code Section 42601. The board adopted the measure following a motion and roll‑call vote.

The board also approved resolution 16‑25‑26, authorizing temporary interfund cash borrowing under Education Code Section 42603 to address short‑term timing differences in receipts and expenditures, and resolution 17‑25‑26 affirming that Education Protection Account (EPA) funds will be used exclusively for certificated instructional salaries and benefits.
