Buildings & Grounds reports project updates; fire-panel upgrades awarded at $459,000, PH/ADRC roof bid awarded

Buildings & Grounds staff provided updates at the Oneida County Facilities Committee meeting on April 13 covering several projects across county facilities.

Updates included: LEC cooling-tower replacement — no new updates; Monico tower-site generator replacement — waiting on material delivery; maintenance plow truck — anticipated delivery on April 15, 2026. The committee recorded a bid award for fire-panel upgrades across multiple facilities to Systems Technologies for $459,000; a notice of award has been filed and the contractor is reviewing documents and ordering materials. A bid for the PH/ADRC roof replacement was awarded to Nasi Roofing for $62,200, with materials ordered and work to start when weather permits. Exterior painting bids for the PH/ADRC facility exceeded budget and the project was deferred for resubmission with a revised budget.

The department presented the March 2026 invoices paid report and the 2026 year-to-date budget/actual report for informational review. No non-budgeted item requests were presented at the meeting.
