The Ada County Emergency Medical Services District board approved several operational items during its May 5, 2026 session.
Staff recommended conveyance of two Ford E‑450 ambulances to Boise City for training purposes, describing the vehicles as serviceable for training despite high miles and idle hours. The board approved Resolution 3188 to effect the conveyance.
The EMS board also approved the EMS claims journal dated April 30, 2026, and approved an EMS agreement (30133‑2‑26) that completes an assignment clause after Captivate Billing was sold to Systems Design West.
In a staff update, EMS leadership said the FY budget had been electronically submitted, internal promotions followed after hiring a new battalion chief, and the agency is preparing for EMS Week; commissioners thanked staff for their service.
