Committee adopts amendment to strip spending from HB 1,100 and advance bill

Rep. Stewart told the committee the amendment removes the need for appropriations; the committee’s fiscal analyst and the JBC analyst agreed. The vice chair moved L003 and Representative Laskow seconded; the amendment was adopted by voice and the committee then voted to move HB 1,100 as amended to the Committee of the Whole. A roll-call showed nine yes, one no and one excused.
