Committee awards Live on the Levy sound-and-light contract, approves higher per-show rate

The committee approved Resolution 26-52 authorizing a contract with Dudimo Productions for sound, light and audio production services for the 2026 Live on the Levy concert series.

Mister Michaud told the committee that Dudimo has provided these services for years and that a prior 2022 competitive procurement selected the vendor. He said the company requested $3,504.75 per event date and that the city anticipates a 10-show season, up from six shows last year; under that schedule staff estimated a contract amount around $35,000 for the season. "This year, as we were discussing this upcoming season, they did have the need to increase or the request to increase to this $3,504.75 per event date," he said.

Committee members asked how additional show-specific equipment or staffing would be paid; staff said additional backline rentals and occasional extra crew would be paid from Live on the Levy sponsorship funds and designated city budgeted funds. One member asked about labor hires; staff said Dudimo provides two on-site employees and that additional stagehands are typically hired through the stagehands group and handled by the event's stage manager, Tom Passanetti. The motion to approve the contract carried.
