Greer County approves REAP closeout, selects employee insurance enrollment and discusses roads

At its April 27 meeting the Greer County Board of Commissioners took several administrative actions: they unanimously approved closeout documents for the 2025–2026 REAP grant; they voted to enroll county employees in plans through the Oklahoma State Employee Group Insurance Division effective July 1 with Benefits Select as the broker; and they approved issuance of blanket purchase orders and payroll.

County Clerk Tiffany Buchanan notified the board of changes to the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG). Commissioners also discussed Roads & Bridges: Commissioner Brent York summarized a recent bridge meeting and outlined road repairs planned for upcoming years. The board then voted to adjourn at 9:48 a.m.

These measures were procedural approvals and notifications; the meeting did not include detailed budget line items or timelines for the EMPG changes beyond notification at this session.
