Votes at a glance: April 30 House session — conveyances, designations and routine items

During its April 30 session the Connecticut House passed a series of largely noncontroversial measures and conveyances by roll-call votes and voice votes. Items acted on included:

- House Bill 5534 (state designations): Passed (vote announced: those voting aye 136; bill passed).
- House Bill 5343 (reporting of state advertising purchases): Amendment LCO 4899 adopted by voice; bill passed (tally announced: 141 voting; passage announced).
- House Bill 5442 (property tax exemption for certain renewable energy sources, amended by House A): Amendment accepted; bill passed (tally announced in transcript).
- Multiple conveyances and land transfers to towns (Rocky Hill, Canton, Stratford, Derby, Hamden, Shelton, Torrington, Woodbury, etc.): described and carried to passage; roll call tallies were read and recorded for each item on the calendar.

Clerks announced the roll‑call tallies on the floor as each electronic vote completed; staff and guests were frequently asked to approach the well for ceremonial passages and guest recognition between votes.
