Ellis County authorizes legal action against Black Sheep PDR LLC and directs termination letter to Equivant

Following a closed executive session under Texas Government Code §551.071 for consultation with legal counsel, the Ellis County Commissioners Court took two actions in open session: it authorized D. Randall Montgomery & Associates PLLC to take legal action on behalf of the county against Black Sheep PDR LLC, All Saints LLC and/or Daniel McGee; and it directed the county and district attorney's office to send a termination letter to Courtview Justice Solutions, Inc., doing business as Equivant, concerning the county's current contract with that vendor.

The court made both motions and approved them by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
