The Board of Health reviewed and accepted a set of routine permits, inspection reports and Title 5/perk test results at its April 26 meeting.
Staff reported on perk test results for properties including 41 Main Street and others; several tests and retests were circulated for signature and staff noted a retest resolved an earlier coliform detection. The board confirmed that Bella’s previously paid primitive-campground inspection fee will be carried forward as a $50 credit toward this year’s fee rather than issuing a separate refund.
The meeting also included review of temporary food permits for seasonal church fairs and other events, pool and campground permits (Peaceful Acres was discussed as a combined campground/pool permit), and administrative items related to permit forms; staff were instructed to remove older, outdated forms that still appear on the town website.
The board moved and seconded approval of warrant turnovers and warrants by voice vote, and the meeting was adjourned with the next meeting scheduled for May 5, 2026.
