District expects to staff four security officers across campuses next year

Staff reported that the district recently held interviews for school police/security officers and expects to be fully staffed for the upcoming year.

"We're expected to be fully staffed... we're looking to be able to have our 2 officers at the high school, 1 officer at Central Mountain Middle School, and 1 officer at the Bucktail Campus," the staff member said.

Committee members asked about specific personnel locations and noted one staff person (Mike) is currently at the high school. The staff member said candidates were strong and that the district will continue to confirm assignments; the committee did not take a formal vote at the meeting.

The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn and members indicated they would move into a short executive session immediately afterward.
