Moderator lists technical edits to multiple warrant articles ahead of town meeting

The moderator walked attendees through a series of technical amendments and corrections to warrant articles that will appear at the Annual Town Meeting.

Highlights included a technical amendment to Article 2 to add an unpaid CPC bill of $400 to Nantucket Radio LLC and to change a Community Preservation Committee subtotal from $1,000 to $1,400; addition of a short-term rental revolving fund of $330,000 in Article 4; deletion of an incorrect tax-title revolving fund reference in Article 4; a corrected reference to chapter 396 (not 398) for an item in Article 15; and insertion of a borrowing authorization in Article 13 that would authorize the treasurer, with the select board's approval, to issue bonds or notes to meet appropriations.

The moderator also noted other non-substantive corrections, acreage corrections to a conservation restriction (Article 79) and minor numbering or citation fixes across several articles. She encouraged sponsors to be prepared but said these are technical edits rather than policy changes.
