Fox River Grove board approves consent agenda; budget hearing opens and closes with no public comment

At the April 4 meeting of the Village of Fox River Grove Board of Trustees, the board approved the consent agenda by a single motion and roll call vote. The consent agenda bundled the March 21 meeting minutes, accounts payable for April 4, Ordinance No. 2023-02 (surplus property) and Resolution No. 2023-03 (TIF #2 extension).

Village President Marc McLaughlin opened a public hearing on the village’s Fiscal Year 2023/24 budget at 6:33 p.m.; there were no public comments and the hearing was closed at 6:34 p.m. Other business listed as "None" in the minutes. Trustee Patrick Wall moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:17 p.m. to go into executive session; the motion passed on a voice vote. The board reconvened at 8:01 p.m. and the meeting was formally adjourned with a voice vote after a motion by Trustee Wall.
