Fox River Grove board approves consent items, directs $20,000 for Public Works vehicles

The Fox River Grove Village Board on March 21 approved its consent agenda and addressed a short other‑business item directing a budget adjustment for Public Works.

The consent agenda approved by a single roll‑call vote included approval of meeting minutes (Feb. 21 and Mar. 14), accounts payable from March 7 and March 21, the January treasurer’s report, a design engineering services agreement for the Millard Avenue water main project, and park permit and sound‑permit fee waivers for two community events: the FRG Library Summer Reading Program picnic (July 21) and the Jaycees Egg Hunt (April 1).

Later in the meeting staff recommended auctioning two end‑of‑life vehicles and using proceeds, with a board direction to add $20,000 to the Public Works vehicles line in the FY2023/24 budget to procure a used pickup. Trustee Patrick Wall moved to adjourn at 7:09 p.m.; the board voted and the meeting adjourned.
