Members spent the early portion of the workshop confirming who had moved and seconded prior motions, and recorded the following items as having been approved at the previous meeting (to be verified in the minutes):

- Item 8 (special election provisions for mayoral vacancy/succession): motion credited to Member Hoskie, seconded by Tony Mancini (recorded as approved).

- Item 10 (name change for Allingtown fire commissioners to a City of West Haven Allingtown Fire Department variant): motion credited to Member Hoskie, seconded by Gail Taglatella (recorded as approved; members asked counsel to confirm the official entity name before finalizing charter text).

- Item 11 (language clarifying council approval of contracts): motion credited to Member Hoskie, seconded by Roberta Garlick (recorded as approved; counsel to finalize contract-definition language).

Commission members emphasized these were reconstructions based on recollection and that counsel and staff would verify the formal record before any final filings or ordinance language was prepared.
