Planning & Transportation Commission elects Vice Chair Chang as chair, Commissioner Gee as vice chair

During the latter portion of the April 29 meeting the commission held its annual election. Vice Chair Chang and Commissioner Heckman were nominated for chair; after ballots Vice Chair Chang was elected chair. Commissioner Gee was nominated and elected vice chair by voice vote.

Nominators and colleagues praised the nominees’ preparation and service. The commission recorded votes and confirmed the officers by majority and voice tallies consistent with PTC practice. The chair thanked staff and the commission before adjourning.
