At their April 21, 2026 regular session the Franklin County Board of Supervisors approved routine county claims and several administrative and community funding items.
The Board voted to approve claims as presented. Motions to approve Non‑Profit Agreements for FY2027 funding for the Hampton Senior Center and for Healthy Harvest of North Iowa were approved by unanimous vote. The Supervisors also approved an engagement agreement with law firm Ahlers & Cooney pertaining to office‑space leasing documents for the Community Resource Center.
Auditor and Finance Director Katy A. Flint briefed the Board on concerns with the county’s current credit‑card company and presented information on a potential replacement. After discussion the Board instructed staff to move the credit‑card vendor item forward on next week’s agenda for formal approval.
All motions recorded in the meeting minutes were carried with unanimous aye votes by Supervisors Lukensmeyer, McVicker and Vanness.
