County employee engagement team announces 'Gratitude Month' campaign

Russ and Laurie, members of the voluntary county employee engagement team, announced a spring campaign they are calling "Gratitude Month," tied to the annual employee survey.

They said Gratitude Month will provide simple ways for staff to recognize colleagues, with each department receiving a packet containing instructions and materials for their common rooms, such as a gratitude wall or tearaway notes to write short thank-you messages. They encouraged staff to watch for emails announcing the campaign start and packet deliveries and noted that the employee engagement team is open to anyone in county service.

The announcement followed a brief public-service reminder about preventing litter from reaching creeks and rivers and directing staff to streetstocreeks.org for more information.
