Aaron and Ben, territory representatives for Perfection Group, presented the company's assessment of four county buildings (wellness center, judicial center, public library/tech center and the administration building) and proposed a preventive-maintenance program.
Aaron described the scope and benefits of preventive maintenance and said the company could reduce energy use and extend equipment life. Ben reported results of a deeper inspection: "Out of the 5 rooftop units that you guys have over at the library and tech center, only 1 of them was working," he said, and listed problems found on other units (blown condenser fan motor, locked-up motors, refrigerant leaks and bad compressors).
Perfection Group proposed an annual preventive-maintenance package for the county's four buildings priced at $38,006.64. The presenters offered to provide itemized repair estimates for units that need replacement and to return with a free, no-cost asset condition report for boilers and other equipment. They demonstrated an XOI visual reporting tool that would give county staff before-and-after photos, time and date stamps, and a history of work on each asset.
County maintenance staff and commissioners asked clarifying questions about which buildings were worst (the library was identified as the most problematic), the scope of repairs, and whether Perfection Group could deliver immediate quotes. The company said it would supply cost estimates and promised to return with a technician to perform further inspections if the court wanted that work; the court asked staff to follow up on quotes and a potential service arrangement.
The presentation and follow-up discussion were informational; no contract award or procurement action was taken at the meeting.
