Board approves consent agenda; election inspectors and BOCES trustees included

At the April 21 meeting the board approved the consent agenda by voice vote: Valerie Lapham moved and Matt Chivanoff seconded. The chair announced the tally as “6 to nothing with 1 absent.” Items called out in the motion included nomination and election of three trustees to Southern Westchester BOCES, approval of election inspectors for the district’s May 19 budget and trustee election (6 a.m.–9 p.m. in the middle school gym) and multiple personnel appointments for the 2026–27 school year.

The board also confirmed that the district reviewed the ex‑officio student member selection process and will adopt changes to move the selection forward. No separate roll‑call of all board members was recorded in the public transcript; the motion and seconder were captured on the record.
