Millbrook board adopts draft 2026–27 budget; public hearing set for May 5

The Millbrook Central School District reported that its board of education presented and adopted a draft of the 2026–27 school-year budget at a Tuesday meeting and will put the proposal before the public at a budget hearing on May 5.

Mr. Garcia, the district’s representative for business and personnel, told the district’s weekly bulletin that the draft was reviewed by the board and that the district will host a public hearing where residents can examine the figures, ask questions and hear administrators discuss priorities. He invited community members to attend in person or watch on the district’s YouTube channel.

The bulletin did not include a vote tally, motion language or the line-by-line figures of the draft budget.
