Mayor Beth Sweeney spotlights Lake Sienna; HOA president Paisley Fodor outlines neighborhood features

Mayor Beth Sweeney hosted a neighborhood edition of “Mondays with the Mayor” in Lake Sienna on Monday, where she spoke with Paisley Fodor, president of the Lake Sienna Homeowners Association, about the small beachside community.

"We're getting out into the neighborhoods," Mayor Beth Sweeney said, explaining the series' goal to "learn about all of our neighborhoods out on the beach and what makes them special." Fodor said Lake Sienna is a tight-knit community of 23 homes and that she and her family moved there in 2020.

Paisley Fodor, identified on the program as Lake Sienna HOA president, described the neighborhood as "very quiet and quaint and small," with recreational walking and biking along a private road that residents typically allow the public to use. She said the HOA manages the neighborhood lake and its lift station.

Fodor also noted a local high point in the neighborhood, saying she believes parts of Lake Sienna are "between, like, 11 and 19 feet above sea level," and added that the elevation makes residents "feel really confident about that during hurricane season." Mayor Sweeney affirmed the point and thanked Fodor for joining the program.
