Legislative Budget and Audit Committee releases FY 2025 State of Alaska single audit

The Legislative Budget and Audit Committee voted by unanimous consent April 22 to release the FY 2025 State of Alaska single audit as a final audit report.

The action followed an executive session in which the committee discussed the audit and related personnel and contract matters. Vice Chair Representative Fields moved to release the report; the chair asked for objections and, hearing none, declared the audit released.

The committee did not take a roll-call vote in open session; members present were listed on the record before the executive session. The committee noted the audit was discussed in executive session and that staff would proceed with the final release of the audit report.

The committee is expected to reconvene if additional follow-up on the audit or related contracts is required before the legislative session ends.
