Worth County supervisors approve routine work orders, licenses and fireworks permits

At its April 20, 2026 meeting, the Worth County Board of Supervisors approved several routine items including work orders, license renewals and event permits.

On motions recorded early in the meeting, the board approved drainage district work orders submitted by A.J. Stone, Donald Knudtson, Mike Petersburg and Dennis Reyerson. The board also approved a Class "C" retail alcohol license renewal for Brackey’s Country View Acres and a Retail Tobacco License for Maverik Group, LLC; both motions carried.

The board granted fireworks permits for events at Country View Acres, 628 430th St., Joice: a permit for Kaden and Grace Nelson on May 23 and a permit for Flashing Thunder Fireworks for August 15. Motions to approve the permits were moved and seconded and carried.

These routine approvals preceded the brief FY26/27 budget public hearing and subsequent resolutions later in the meeting. The meeting recessed at 8:40 A.M., reconvened at 9:00 A.M., and adjourned at 9:03 A.M.
