Board hears presentation on April referendum and public outreach plans

Medford Area Public School District staff briefed the school board on plans to inform the public about an April referendum at the Feb. 21 meeting.

Ericka presented information about the referendum process, reviewed the district’s FAQ page and open-house dates and times, and answered questions from board members about outreach and information access. Earlier in the meeting, public commenter Fred Ebert identified himself as a candidate for the school board and made referendum-related statements and inquiries.

The presentation emphasized available channels for residents to learn about the measure and noted upcoming open-house events and an online FAQ. No formal board action on the referendum was recorded at this meeting.
