Board approves routine action items, personnel moves and recognizes two longtime employees

President Rice called for action on agenda items. The board moved and approved action items F‑1 through F‑18 by voice vote after a motion and second. The board then considered personnel items under section G. Action item G‑1 (personnel) was moved and seconded and approved; action item G‑2, which revokes the district’s early‑out incentive, was moved, seconded and approved.

During personnel recognition, administrators acknowledged two retirements on the agenda. Brianna Sheets was noted for 27 years of service to the district in roles including teacher, dean and most recently assistant principal at Wallace Elementary. Tina Keeler was recognized for her long service since 2000 at Trimmer Elementary and for leadership roles with the PTO and band boosters; administrators thanked both for their contributions and wished them well in retirement.

Votes were taken by voice; the meeting record shows 'aye' responses for the motions and at least one recorded nay (identified in the record as "Jenny"). The board took no further formal action beyond those approvals at the meeting.
