Clearlake planning commission names Smalley chair and Inglis vice chair for 2026

Following the public‑hearing items, the Clearlake Planning Commission held internal business to select its 2026 officers. A motion to appoint Jack Smalley as chair passed and the commission then appointed Chris Inglis as vice chair.

During the chair vote one commissioner recorded a nay on the first motion before the commission confirmed Smalley as chair. The subsequent motion to appoint Inglis as vice chair was moved and seconded and carried on a recorded vote.

Commissioners briefed one another and the chair asked members to keep lines of communication open with neighbors on pending projects. The meeting adjourned at approximately 6:40 p.m.

No formal staffing or budget changes were associated with the appointments; they are internal organizational votes for commission leadership and will remain in effect through calendar year 2026.
