Planning Commission approves consent agenda, continues two items to May 13

The San Antonio Planning Commission approved its combined consent agenda at its April 22, 2026 meeting and voted to continue two items to the commission's May 13 meeting.

Chair Peck opened the meeting and called for the consent agenda, which grouped staff-recommended approvals for a single roll-call vote. Commissioner Siegel moved to approve the consent agenda, seconded by Commissioner Sanchez; the motion passed by roll call. Commissioner Bustamante was recused from several items that were on the consent list.

Separately, the commission voted to continue item 9 (location noted as 1139 New Laredo Highway) and item 10 (generally located in the 3200 block of South Foster Road) to the May 13, 2026 meeting. Commissioner Bustamante moved to continue item 9, with Commissioner Siegel seconding; Commissioner Sanchez moved to continue item 10, seconded by Commissioner Miller. Both continuance motions passed by roll call.

No substantive debate occurred on the consent items recorded in the combined motion. The continuances were recorded as procedural votes to allow additional time for applicant or staff follow-up.
