Cloud County Health Department schedules Bike to School Day, readies for family-planning audit

Cloud County Health Department Administrator Tonya Sulanka updated the Board on public-health programming and upcoming administrative work on April 13.

Sulanka said Bike to School Day is set for May 6 at Concordia Elementary School and that the department received a grant to provide helmets for participants. She reported that the Immunization Nurse will attend Kindergarten Roundup later in the week, and that Aid to Local grant applications are due April 15. Sulanka also told the Board the Kansas Department of Health and Environment will conduct a family planning audit in June and that the Health Department plans to increase prices for adult and family planning services.
