The Greensboro Department of Transportation will host two virtual open-house sessions for the East Gate City Boulevard corridor study on Tuesday, April 28, from noon to 1 p.m. and again from 6 to 7 p.m., city officials announced.
The sessions will present proposed corridor concepts and invite community feedback that staff will use to inform next steps, the announcement said. The department said the study will evaluate current conditions along East Gate City Boulevard and explore options to improve safety, enhance public transit, and create more walkable and bike-friendly streets in the corridor.
City staff encouraged residents to review proposed concepts and submit comments during the virtual events. The announcement directed the public to the city website for more information and materials for the study.
The department said community feedback will help inform the study’s next steps as the project moves forward. For details and access information, see greensboro-nc.gov/eastgatecitycorridor.
