Hempfield Area School Board working meeting lists personnel items, policy first reads and committee reports

At a working meeting on April 13, Hempfield Area School District directors reviewed a range of non‑financial agenda items, including personnel recommendations, policy first reads and committee reports.

The Personnel section of the agenda listed recommended actions to approve leaves of absence; resignations and retirements; new employment; transfers and administrative alignments; and other personnel items. The agenda presents these as motions to be approved; the transcript does not record the outcomes of those motions.

The Policy committee placed multiple policies on first read for the required 30‑day review period and listed approval of fundraisers as recommended actions. Supplementals and athletics approvals were also placed on the agenda under their respective committees.

The meeting record names student representatives Landan Kalp (Student Council president) and Arianna Gray (vice president) as attending voting meetings. Board President Jerry Radebaugh noted the board had met in executive session earlier in the evening to discuss legal and personnel matters.
