Webster County supervisors approved a series of fund transfers May 21 to meet upcoming debt‑service obligations and TIF rebate payments.
The board unanimously authorized a $505,000 transfer from LOSST (0052) to Debt Service (2000) for a payment due June 1, 2024, tied to General Obligation Capital Loan Notes, Series 2016A. It also approved a $545,475 transfer from the Urban Renewal Fund (0017) to the Debt Service Fund (2000) for a June 1, 2024 payment on General Obligation Quality Of Life Bond Loan Notes, Series 2022. Separately, supervisors approved a transfer of $114,288.71 from the General Supplemental Fund (0002) to Debt Service (2000) for a partial payment for radios for EMS departments connected to General Obligation Emergency Services Communications Bond Loan Notes, Series 2019.
At the subsequent motions, the board approved a transfer of $55,451 from the Urban Renewal Fund to the General Basic Fund to cover TIF rebate payments for fiscal year 2024. The motions were moved and seconded by supervisors as recorded in the minutes and carried unanimously.
