Webster County supervisors approve $100,000 transfer to public health, set workshop

The Webster County Board of Supervisors approved Resolution No. 2024-18 on May 17, 2024, authorizing an interfund transfer of $100,000 from the General Basic fund to the Public Health fund. Supervisor Hayek moved the measure and Supervisor Thode seconded; the motion carried with Supervisors Nick Carlson, Hayek and Thode voting aye. Supervisors Campbell and Conrad were recorded as absent.

The resolution transfers budget authority to support public-health operations and establishes a workshop with Public Health to discuss implementation details on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. A copy of the resolution and meeting materials is on file in the Webster County Auditor’s Office at 701 Central Ave and posted online by the county.

The board approved the agenda earlier in the session and handled the interfund transfer as a single formal vote. No public comment or opposing motions were recorded in the minutes. The board adjourned after scheduling additional follow-up on other agenda items.
