The Lyon County Board of Supervisors reviewed and approved payroll registers and vendor claims during its April 14 meeting. The Payroll Warrant Register of $283,043.31 and a Payroll Disbursement Register of $335,624.42 were presented by fund and approved by the Board.
The Board reviewed and approved handwritten claims dated March 31, 2026 ($98,529.42) and April 8, 2026 ($90.69), and then reviewed a detailed claims register dated April 14, 2026 totaling $347,260.37. Notable single-line items included Calhoun‑Burns & Associates ($49,643.31 for bridge rating/inspection), Cooperative Energy Company ($50,332.00 for March fuel/service), Mobotrex ($17,110.00 for a beacon), and 3D Security ($21,791.03 for fire monitoring and cameras). Funds were allocated across General, Secondary Road, E911 surcharge and other funds as recorded in the register.
A motion to approve claims (Birkey/Scholten) carried unanimously. The Board did not take additional action beyond approving the registers and claims at this meeting.
