Cook County committee approves two Class 6b property tax incentive resolutions for Arlington Heights and Elk Grove

The Cook County Business and Economic Development Committee voted to approve two Class 6b property tax incentive resolutions, bundled for consideration.

Item 26-0914 would grant a Class 6b property tax incentive to Shanley Pump and Equipment for a project in the Village of Arlington Heights; item 26-0915 would grant a Class 6b property tax incentive to 1090 Pratt LLC for a project in the Village of Elk Grove. The chair said both items are in the 15th district. Commissioner Kevin Morrison moved the bundled approval and Commissioner Sean Morrison seconded.

The committee voted by voice; the chair announced, "Ayes have it." The motion carried and both resolutions were approved. The committee provided no additional substantive discussion or conditions on the record when moving the bundled motion.

The approvals will be reflected in the committee minutes and forwarded according to standard county procedures for final recording and implementation.
