Adair County approves $103,304.25 in disbursements and several fund transfers

Adair County officials approved routine financial actions on April 13, 2026, including $103,304.25 in disbursements and several intra-budget transfers.

Melinda, the treasurer, presented the disbursement report, saying, “We have to, grant total of $103,304.25 in the disbursements.” The board then approved the disbursements by voice vote.

The meeting also included multiple line-item and fund-to-fund moves. Melinda outlined a set of line-to-line transfers (noted in the packet as amounts to general, road, car summary and other minor accounts) and a fund-to-fund transfer that allocated $50,000 to the jail fund and $40,000 to the 911 fund. A subsequent, smaller transfer included five units (recorded in the packet) each to the jail and 911 funds. All motions were moved, seconded and carried by voice vote with no roll-call tallies recorded.
