The Hancock County Board of Supervisors accepted the fiscal year 2024-2025 independent auditor's report from Fort & Schlegel, C.P.A., PC at its March 30 meeting and filed the post-election audit/auditor certification for the City of Forest City special election held March 17, 2026.
The board approved an invoice of $6,244.01 to Electronic Engineering for door fobs and a camera for a maintenance/storage garage. It also approved a 2% increase to dental insurance rates for Fiscal Year 2026-2027; the board recorded no change to the method of calculating the employee's contribution (county pays single policy and employee pays the difference for family coverage). Vision insurance rates for FY2026-2027 were left unchanged.
Supervisors recessed the Board of Supervisors at 11:32 a.m. to convene as Drainage Trustees and reconvened at 11:48 a.m. The meeting adjourned at 12:02 p.m.; the Board will meet again on April 6, 2026.
