Bullhead City's Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved a preliminary condominium plat for the project known as Hideaway House (prelim plat S26002) at 405 Lee Avenue.
Staff explained the project consists of three existing commercial storage buildings under construction that would be subdivided into 11 individually ownable units (airspace parcels) with a shared common area for driveways and landscaping. Staff said this is a commercial condominium configuration that allows individual sale of units rather than selling a single parcel with all three buildings.
Commissioners asked whether the word "condominium" implies residential use; staff clarified these are commercial condominiums and that county assessment and ownership records would treat each unit as an individual parcel for tax and title purposes. The commission closed the public comment period with no speakers and approved the preliminary plat by motion (6–0).
Next steps: If the final plat is approved and recorded, the 11 units would be separately sellable and governed by an owners association responsible for building and site maintenance.
