Committee to schedule open‑space walks and Harbor‑to‑Hills outreach, consider RTM briefing

The committee discussed scheduling and promoting a series of open-space walks and a public awareness event for the Harbor-to-Hills planning effort.

A committee member (Alex) said the group needs to lock down walk routes and calendar dates so the program can be posted and promoted. The committee tentatively targeted Saturday meetings and agreed to coordinate dates with the library and other tabling events to avoid overscheduling volunteers and the public.

Alex also noted the conservation commission agreed to draft a letter of support for Harbor-to-Hills, and members discussed presenting to the Representative Town Meeting (RTM) in early June after public outreach events provide consolidated input.

Committee members assigned follow-ups: confirm library availability for a public meeting, coordinate with tabling events and finalize a date for the next Harbor-to-Hills public awareness meeting (candidate in May), then determine whether to approach the RTM before or after that event.
