Sacramento Area Sewer District meeting adjourned for lack of quorum

The Sacramento Area Sewer District convened on April 8, 2026, but officials adjourned and cancelled the meeting after determining a quorum was not present.

The chair said the adjournment applied to the sewer district as well as the Northern California Sanitation Agency's financing authority. Directors discussed scheduling the next regular meeting, identifying May 13, 2026, as the likely date and noting travel conflicts for some members who would be in Washington, D.C. A possibility of restoring the April 22 meeting was also mentioned.

Members asked whether online attendance would be permitted; the clerk said she would look into that and report back. With no substantive items addressed, the meeting was adjourned.
