The Lake County Board of Commissioners on Monday approved a series of routine resolutions covering road, drainage and utilities work and a package of finance items.
The board voted to award a contract to Phillips Paving LLC for the Lake County intersection realignment project in the amount of $478,740.20. Commissioners also approved plans and specifications to rebid the Hopkins Road and Haines Road culvert improvements (project number 2022Dash011), and authorized advertising for bids with a bid opening set for May 6, 2026. The board approved a utilities appropriation and cash transfer for the Jean Drive Waterline Replacement Project (Project Fund 595, 409W2026) and certified unpaid water sums and administrative charges to the county auditor.
On finance matters the commission approved payment of bills totaling $4,110,869.31 and purchase orders totaling $5,297,918.69, and passed resolutions to increase appropriations and transfer cash among funds. Each item was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
Actions taken were routine in form and related to ongoing capital and maintenance programs; no public comments were made on these agenda items.
