Council approves Creekside Village Division No. 1 final plat and related development agreement

Community Development Services representative James presented the final plat (PLAT‑24‑049) for Creekside Village Division No. 1, a proposed five‑lot subdivision at the southeast corner of 33rd North and North Midwest. James said the proposal meets minimum lot sizes and right‑of‑way requirements, includes internal circulation streets with 60‑foot rights‑of‑way, and dedicates right‑of‑way along 33rd North and 5th West and a canal corridor.

James noted the plat passed the planning commission unanimously on July 1 with no public comment and addressed a council question about a developer trenching/payment term in the developer agreement (the draft calls for a one‑year obligation; city power staff indicated comfort with that term).

Council moved to approve the development agreement and to authorize the mayor and city clerk to execute the agreement. The council then approved the final plat and authorized signatures on the final plat and adopted the statement of relevant criteria and standards for the final plat.
