School committee completes annual reorganization, appoints officers and district counsel

The Blackstone‑Millville Regional School District school committee held its annual reorganization at its April 6 meeting, completing officer elections and a set of routine appointments.

During the reorganization the committee accepted nominations, conducted roll‑call or voice votes and adopted officers for the 2023–24 year. Motions recorded in the transcript show the committee approved the chair nomination by voice vote; Tara Larkin was approved as vice chair; the committee approved a district secretary and named Carrie Gaudette as district treasurer. The committee also moved to appoint Ronald (Ron) Pierre Louis as assistant district treasurer for the 2023–24 year and reappointed Long & DiPietro as district counsel; roll‑call votes were recorded and described in the meeting as unanimous.
