Liquor and Cannabis Board introduces new CIO Stephanie Ratko

Stephanie Ratko, the Liquor and Cannabis Board’s new chief information officer, was introduced at the board’s Executive Management Team meeting on April 8.

Tony (staff member) introduced Ratko and said she had been with the agency “just over 2 weeks, 2 and a half” and had “hit the ground running.” Ratko thanked staff and said partners across agencies had already provided information and support that helped her prepare to work with the team.

Leaders at the meeting noted the difficult budget environment state agencies face and welcomed Ratko to a technical organization that will need to manage projects under tighter financial constraints. The chair said the agency valued her experience and looked forward to her participation in the work ahead.

The introduction was brief and no formal action was taken; Ratko’s remarks emphasized collaboration with partner agencies and readiness to begin work with agency staff.
