The Bernards Township Committee on Dec. 23 adopted Ordinance 2590, approving a riparian-zone conservation easement on property located at 24 Briar Lane (Block 3402, Lot 9).
Committee member David Tancredi moved to adopt the ordinance “and advertised as required by law,” and the mayor seconded the motion. The clerk conducted a roll call; the members called voted in the affirmative and the motion carried.
The ordinance accepts a conservation easement from the private owner listed in the agenda as 301GarrettLLC. The public hearing on the measure was opened and, with no comments from attendees, was closed before the motion to adopt was called.
Committee members proceeded to adopt the ordinance by roll call. The clerk confirmed the affirmative votes for the members present; the ordinance will be advertised per the statutory notice requirements before taking any further procedural steps.
No amendments or conditions were recorded on the ordinance during the meeting. The committee also completed routine business including approval of the consent agenda and the minutes from the Dec. 9 meeting before adjourning.
