Milton CRA unanimously approves Feb. 19 minutes and financial report, shifts early to utilities meeting

The Milton Community Redevelopment Agency unanimously approved the minutes from its Feb. 19 meeting and approved the agency's financial report during a brief evening session, then agreed to end the CRA meeting early so the Sun Valley utilities meeting could start at 5:45 p.m.

The meeting opened with the pledge of allegiance and an invocation by Miss Mitchell, who prayed for wisdom for the councilmembers' decisions: "Lord, we just thank you for this day. We thank thank you for the beauty of the season..." The Chair then moved the agenda to administrative business.

On minutes: the Chair told members a motion to approve the Feb. 19 minutes had been made and stated the motion was from Councilman Farrow and was seconded by Councilman Powers. The Chair announced the minutes were "unanimously approved by all 5 members present." On the financial report, the Chair called for a motion; the Chair identified Councilman Hawthorne as the mover and Councilman Powell as the seconder, and then announced the financial report was unanimously approved by the members present.

No members of the public came forward to appear before the CRA; the Chair confirmed there were no communications regarding CRA business and proposed adjourning the CRA session early. "And we are scheduled to begin the Sun Valley utilities meeting at 05:45," the Chair said, and asked to start a little early once systems were ready.

The session concluded after the unanimous votes and the scheduling decision; there were no recorded amendments, contested motions, or public comments on the matters voted on.
