Mary Ann Tessie, a city resident, told the council she had noticed unmarked city vehicles and said that lack of visible identification makes it harder to prevent misuse of taxpayer-funded fuel. "All the vehicles are not marked," Tessie said, and she urged the city to require markings on future purchases.
Tessie also asked why a camper linked to a city worker remained at the waterworks after another camper was removed during a recent sale. She asked staff to check ownership and whether the city should be providing storage or other services for private property.
Finally, Tessie asked about an ordinance (referred to during comments as ordinance 25-47) that requires certain landlords to register; she said she was unsure how property owners are being notified and whether the registration process is working.
A city official responded that income tax clerks had communicated requirements to property owners and to those filing Schedule E. Council did not take immediate enforcement action during the meeting but directed staff to follow up on vehicle marking and property questions.
