Pottawattamie supervisors grant preliminary approval for RWE Clean Energy wind development agreement

The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors granted preliminary approval for a development agreement with RWE Clean Energy, LLC related to the proposed Pottawattamie Wind Project, subject to final review and approval.

The action was recorded following a closed-session recommendation from the County Attorney. The motion to grant preliminary approval passed with Supervisors Brian Shea, Susan Miller and Keith Jones voting in favor; Supervisor Tim Wichman voted no and Supervisor Jeff Jorgensen was absent for that recorded vote.
