Rock County board approves consent agenda including appointments, salaries and contract award

The Rock County Board of Supervisors approved the evening’s consent agenda by voice vote, advancing a set of routine personnel, salary and contract items without separate discussion.

The clerk read consent items that included adoption of the meeting agenda and approval of minutes from March 12, 2026; appointments to the Prairie Lake Library System Board; an administrative staffing item related to disabled parking and Human Services; creation of a registered dietician pool position; an award of contract for work replacement at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater at Rock County; establishing salaries for the Rock County Clerk of Circuit Court and the Rock County Sheriff for the 2027–2030 term; and setting the 2026 salary for the county administrator.

Supervisor Tillman moved to approve the consent agenda and the motion was seconded (the seconder was not named on the record). The chair called for any requests to remove items for separate consideration; seeing none, the chair called the question and reported the motion passed by voice vote with no recorded dissent.

There were no public comments or public hearings related to the consent items. The board then proceeded to the next agenda item.
