Chair appoints Chuck Goins as clerk pro tem; board enters executive session on property purchase and takes no action

At the start of the special meeting, the Chair moved to appoint Chuck Goins as clerk pro tem and the board approved the appointment by roll call.

Later in the meeting the Chair moved to go into executive session pursuant to ORC 121.22(G)(2) to consider the purchase of property for public purposes and referenced sale/disposition procedures in section 505.1 of the Revised Code. The motion was seconded and the board entered executive session at 8:06 a.m.

Meeting participants asked whether action would be taken as a result of the executive session; members replied that action "may or may not" be taken. The trustees returned from executive session at 8:16 a.m. and announced that no action would follow the session.

After the return the Chair moved to adjourn; the motion carried by roll call and the meeting ended at 8:16 a.m.
